We have proven over the years that the removal of settled solids with little or no agitation removes more of the clays, silts, and asphaltenes at the field production tank level.

In doing so, it also helps to reduce the levels of slop oil produced by not reintroducing these fines back into the interface or oil portion of the tankage. The solids portion of the settled sand and sludge removed by augering contains less flud, thereby reducing the volumes of material hauled to disposal. In many cases, our techniques have shown a reduction in the 30 to 50 per cent range.
