Grithog Sand Control Systems augering technology plays a key role in the transportation of catalyst across Canada and the United States.
The technology, which was created, in part, by Grit founder Wayne King, first came to the catalyst transportation industry through the establishment of International Catalyst Corporation (ICC).
Grithog augering systems allowed for the creation of an alternate method of transporting spent catalyst to reclamation sites, in a safe and environmentally-sound method. It uses a totally-enclosed system, which is ensures there is absolutely no spillage.
Currently, all spent catalyst being shipped from Canadian refineries is transported using Grithog technology.
